Dr. Heike Majewski is a specialist in general and vascular surgery with more than three decades of clinical and surgical experience. As the founder and medical director of LiSuMed, she has fully dedicated her work to the treatment of lipoedema, combining in-depth medical knowledge with a deep understanding of the condition and the individual needs of affected women.

Her professional journey has taken her from classical general surgery and international humanitarian missions to leading roles in vascular surgery, culminating in a consistent specialisation in lipoedema therapy. Today, she is considered one of Germany’s most experienced surgeons in this field.

- Studied medicine at Ruhr University Bochum
- Clinical placements in Trinidad and Jerusalem
- State medical exam in 1994, Doctorate (Dr. med.) in 1995
- 1995–2010: Specialist training in general and vascular surgery
